Calling all DIY mechanics and pros working on some specific diesel engines!

This BGS 9379 tool set is your go-to for checking and setting the timing on the 2.8L diesel engines found in a bunch of Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles.

We're talking models like the Jeep Cherokee (KJ, KK), Wrangler (JK), Dodge Nitro, and even some older Chevy Trailblazers and Grand Voyagers with the engine codes VM64C, ENS, 49C, 50C, and similar.

The kit is pretty straightforward but super essential – it includes a camshaft locking tool (which works as an equivalent to the OEM tool VM9991) and a crankshaft locking tool (like OEM VM9992).

You use these to lock the cam and crank in the correct position so you can safely work on the timing belt or chain without the engine turning and messing up your timing.

It's a must-have if you're doing a timing belt replacement, checking valve timing, or any serious engine work on these motors.

The tools are made to fit precisely, which gives you the confidence that you're setting things right.

If you've been quoted a big shop bill for a timing job on one of these vehicles, having this kit can save you a ton of money by letting you do it yourself.

Just make sure your engine is one of the listed models before you buy.

For the right job, it's a simple, no-fuss set that does exactly what you need.
