This listing is for 6 or more (they usually include extras) fertile Rhode Island Red chicken eggs, ready for you to try and hatch.

Rhode Island Reds are classic, awesome birds - hardy, good layers of brown eggs, and just all-around great backyard chickens.

Now, a super important heads-up: these are shipped eggs.

The seller, Fox Peak Outdoor Supply, packs them very carefully, but they cannot control what happens during mail delivery, so there's always a risk of breakage or the eggs getting too hot/cold, which can affect hatch rates.

They do NOT mark the box as hatching eggs to try and prevent rough handling.

When you get them, you MUST open the box gently, let the eggs sit at room temp for about 12 hours (to avoid thermal shock), and then put them in your incubator.

DO NOT wash them.

The seller is very clear that they cannot offer refunds for shipping damage or poor hatch rates, as they can't control your incubator or the postal service.
